Ocean export administrative agent

Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for international logistics? As an Ocean Export Administrative Agent, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth coordination of sea freight shipments worldwide. You will manage export documentation, communicate with clients and carriers, and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations

As our new Ocean Export Administrative Agent, you will perform following tasks:

• Process non-DG shipments.
• Track shipments for specific customer accounts.
• Register custom documents on national customs website.
• Execute and follow up of daily reports.
• Create non-DG files in our own SAP system.
• Send out pick up instructions to our road service providers.
• Verify & document booking confirmations and container releases of ocean carriers.
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the DLSOP.
• Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with the company’s procedures.
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies / procedures and external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements.
• Escalate problems to Management when necessary.

As our new Ocean Export Administrative Agent, you understand export documentation.
Besides that, you recognize yourself in following aspects:

• You are pro-active and well-organised
• Fluent in English with a good knowledge of Dutch
• Strong computer skills (SAP/Excel..)
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
• A degree in logistics is a big plus
• You live on maximum 45 min - 1 hour away from the "Noorderlaan" in Antwerp.
