• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain proactive communication with key clients regarding sea freight export shipments.
• Manage and oversee export shipments using a Transport Management System (TMS), ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
• Coordinate bookings with carriers, shipping lines, and other logistics partners in line with agreed service levels and contractual arrangements.
• Collaborate closely with the customs team to ensure all customs documentation is prepared accurately and on time.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the global network, supporting shipment coordination, rate requests, and quotations.
• Ensure accurate billing and maintain high standards of data quality while complying with internal policies and procedures.
• Apply Compliance standards in daily operations, including security requirements, trade sanctions, carrier regulations, and commodity-specific guidelines.

• As a Control Tower Assisant, you have several years of experience in freight forwarding, with a strong focus on sea freight.
• You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
• You quickly adapt to new systems and are comfortable working with a variety of computer applications.
• IMDG and Codex certification or training is considered an advantage.
• You live in or near Puurs.
