Operator

Our client is looking for a dedicated operator to join their dynamic team in Pittem.

As an  operator, you will be responsible for the entire carrot processing process within your line.

You will ensure that the installation runs optimally and continuously monitor the quality and efficiency.

Your tasks will include:

• Checking incoming carrots and correctly storing them in the bunkers
• Operating, monitoring, and adjusting the machines responsible for the entire peeling process
• Continuously monitoring the production process and intervening where necessary
• Taking responsibility for the process until the grated carrots arrive in the production hall, where the further process is taken over by the team

The company cuts and packages fresh vegetables in an innovative way and produces creative ready-to-eat meal salads for the retail and food service sector. 

• A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Technically minded and able to monitor and adjust machines
• Fluent in English
• Experience as an operator or in a production environment is a plus

• Working with a new, modern installation
• A responsible and varied position
• Fixed schedule: 2 shifts, morning and afternoon. 1 saturdaymoning every 2 weeks.
• Working in a dynamic production environment
• Salary 18 euros gros per houre + shiftpremie + mealvouchers
