Starbroker Operations specialist

Your tasks include:

• Process and follow up on daily export documentation flows
• Handle and follow up on export customs clearance
• Process and monitor inbound and outbound truck movements
• Coordinate operational activities with the warehouse
• Coordinate document flow with Customer Service teams (local & international)
• Report and follow up on paperwork irregularities with origin stations for correction
• Coordinate and follow up trucking movements internally with the Road Department
• Provide flight alerts to airlines, ground handling agents, and destinations
• Follow up on build-up optimization
• Visit ground handling agents when required to take corrective action for our shipments

StarBroker is the in-house carrier of our client. On behalf of their network, they contract airfreight capacity on strategic lanes around the world and more particularly from Europe.
They use part- or full charters as well as scheduled airlines.

For their Brucargo location, they are looking for a new colleague who wants to join them in making a difference in the world of logistics. 

Your Profile:

• You have initial experience in air freight or cargo handling, or a degree in logistics
• You are willing to work a late shift (11:30-20:00 pm) and flexible with shift routing in case of operational emergencies
• Able to handle administrative flows accurately and take full ownership of your tasks
• You are a strong communicator and a team player
• You are customer-oriented and quality-driven
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a strong asset
• You are looking for a long-term professional commitment

Your general working schedule would be:

• Monday: 12:30 PM-20:00 PM (Break 30 minutes)
• Tuesday till Friday: 11:30 AM – 20:00 PM (Break 30 minutes)

As our new operations specialist you will have a salary between 3200-3800 gross, depending on your experience.
