Technical sales support

Do you have knowledge of electricity and mechanics? Do you have strong administrative and communication skills? Are you customer-oriented? Then you might be the technical sales support we are looking for! In this position you will have contact with different peole, both internal and external, and you will perform both technical sales and product management tasks.

Technical sales support:

• Handling technical questions from customer distributors
• Searching for alternative products and explaining differences between products
• Providing technical product information such as specifications, test reports, environmental reports (RoHS, Reach, Conflict Minerals, Full Material Declaration, Certificate of Material, Certificate of Temperature, UL/CSA/TUV/VDE certificates) and material data sheets on request
• Handling and maintaining various documents: project sheets, product requests, special test reports and letters of requests
• Managing communication with the Engineering Center in Belgium and Japan and other parties on technical topics
• Informing external sales, customers and distributors about new products and product information
• Determining the in-house shelf life of products

Product management:

• Preparing and giving training and presentations to customers and distributors, together with a sales colleague
• Keeping the website up to date

This Japanese multinational is a world manufacturer of electronic connectors. The sales and logistics office located in Kampenhout is responsible for the sales in different countries. To provide the necessary technical support to customer in the various regions, we are looking for a technical sales support/product management responsible.

The technical sales support we are looking for:

• Has a technical diploma of higher secondary education or a bachelor's degree in electromechanics/electronics
• Preferably already has experience in a similar position
• Has an excellent knowledge of English and preferably also knowledge of Dutch
• Is customer-oriented and communicative strong
• Has strong administrative skills and always works punctually
• Can work the MS Office tools
• Has general technical knowledge of electricity and mechanics

• A full-time job as a technical sales support in an international environment, working 80% is negotiable
• Salary of 3000 to 3200 EUR gross/month
• Meal vouchers of 7 EUR/day
• Bicycle allowance
• As soon as you get a permanent cotract: hospitalization insurance and sector pension plan
• 12 paid ADV days per year
• Flexible working hours: starting between 7am and 9am and ending between 2:30pm and 5:30pm
• Possibility to work from home after the training period (+/- 1 day/week)
