Senior mechanical fitter

As a Senior mechanical fitter, you will perform mechanical work, and pressure testing of all types of installations. You actively participate in housekeeping initiatives and general improvement projects. You manage 1 or more work centers regarding safety, following instructions, quality.

• Assemble mechanical installations. (cleaning of components, assembling standard and non-standard installations and components, spot welding and bonding, making decisions on non-standard mechanical works)
• Perform pressure testing of assembled plants and troubleshooting during pressure testing.
• Perform production support tasks (backfilling and draining, pickling and passivation, preparing plants for internal testing and shipping.

Finally, you will perform penetrant testing and collaborate on traceability as required by PED/ASME and Tag & lock out procedure.

In this company there is room for Dutch and English speaking employees. You have knowledge of connection techniques you use Swagelok - Hamlet couplings, threaded couplings NPT/BSP, O-ring seals, stainless steel tubing, piping, wall thickness, ... You know how to work with pressures, correct use of tools, with (sawing, bending, tapping, ...) of carbon steel tubing, piping, wall thickness, ... In addition, you work with plastic tubing + fittings, Cu pipes + fittings, Tags and labels, Reading P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram).

You take care of quality and finishing within the predefined goals. You will be neat and orderly and have knowledge of pipefitting and flange assembly. Moreover, working safely is a priority for you. You are accurate and have a positive attitude! You will use your personal protective equipment, follow policies, procedures and regulations.

At this client you will join a stable and innovative company working towards a green future.In return for your hard work as a mechanical fitter, you will receive a nice hourly wage that starts from 18.5 euros per hour and is negotiable according to experience and knowledge.This is supplemented by meal vouchers.You will have full-time employment in a two-shift system, a nice team to work with and a job with enormous responsibility. After 6 months, you will also be offered a full-time contract with the company, subject to good evaluations.
