Job description?

Our client is in international organization providing innovative network connectivity technology. They are looking for a local quality manager in Leuven, who will have following responsibilities:

  • Site quality projets as a local ISO9001 certification and local ISO14001 certification for all the site activities.
  • Participate in the maintaining through the implementation of the actions that may come from the corporate ISO27001 certification.
  • Strong interaction with R&D department, the Manufacturing plant functions and the support functions present in the site to ensure alignment of operations with Corporate Procedures.
  • The role will have a strong component of interactions with Corporate Departments to support corporate quality initiatives and projects as well as ensure global processes are implemented.
  • Participate to the PBW committee in Belgium.

What are we looking for?

  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality standards and ISO 14001 Environmental standards
  • Very good command of Dutch and English
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to organize workload.
  • Hands-on: ability to write efficiently new processes, quality reports, communications towards customers, suppliers, other company departments
  • Have relevant engineering qualification
  • Two to five years’ experience of working in a similar telecom industry environment
  • General understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
  • A thorough understanding of the company’s services, products and its associated markets
  • Experienced Internal Auditor Registered / certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor is an advantage
